Aprilia Dynamic Damping is the patented semi-active suspension system that measures the energy transmitted by the road surface to the bike and adjusts the suspension in real time. This technology minimises road shock and vibrations which in turn maximises comfort and control.
Aprilia’s Ride By Wire (RbW) engine control system is a technologically advanced electronic system which allows the rider to select from three engine maps. Each of these maps adjust the power delivery from the engine and transforms the character of the motorcycle.
The shock absorber is controlled by the aDD system which electronically adjusts spring preload in five pre-defined settings: rider only, rider and passenger, rider with panniers, rider and passenger with panniers and full automatic. The Full automatic setting allows the spring pre-load to automatically adapt to the type of load on the bike.
Aprilia Traction Control (aTC) is an exclusive traction control system. Designed by Aprilia, this system delivers maximum grip out of any type of surface providing the rider with greater confidence and simultaneously increasing safety. The 3 levels of control can be adjusted based on different riding styles and road conditions.
The two channel Anti-Lock Braking System (aBS) was developed to guarantee maximum safety on the road.
Aprilia Cruise Control allows the desired speed to be set and maintained regardless of the topography, without touching the throttle control. The system disengages automatically if the rider touches the brake or clutch.
